4 Injured In Upper West Side NYCHA Fire: FDNY
A fire on Wednesday afternoon sent four people to the hospital, officials said.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A fire inside an Upper West Side building sent four people to the hospital Wednesday afternoon, according to officials.
Flames broke out on the sixth floor of a seven-story NYCHA building on West 84th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues about 3:45 p.m., FDNY officials said.
The 35-unit NYCHA building is also called Dome Site and is managed privately by Kraus Management, according to the agency.

Medics rushed four people to the hospital who had suffered minor injuries, according to an FDNY spokesperson.
The department could not confirm what the injuries were.

By 4:15 p.m., the fire was under control, officials said, and the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
