A 4-year-old boy and a 35-year-old man were grazed by bullets on West 94th Street and Amsterdam early Wednesday morning, police said.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A 4-year-old boy was shot on the Upper West Side early Wednesday morning, police said.
A 4-year-old and a 35-year-old man were grazed by bullets about 12:25 a.m. in front of the WS Deli at Wet 94th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, police said.
The 4-year-old was hit in the leg and the 35-year-old was hit in the foot, police said.

The pair was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
An NYPD spokesperson told Patch that it appears the two people hit were unattended victims of a drive by shooting.

The spokesperson did not provide a description of any suspect.
"It is horrible, it's frightening," Upper West Side Council Member Gale Brewer told Patch, adding that she was attempting to find out if the child was part of an Upper West Side family, and what she could do to help.
