Ample Hills To Open Upper West Side Outpost Thursday
The two hour grand opening will begin at 6 p.m. complete with free kid size scoops and an Upper West Side-specific ice cream flavor.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — As of Thursday, Upper West Siders won't have to get on a train to snag a sweet treat from Ample Hills Creamery.
The beloved creamery, best known for its unusual, mix-in-filled flavors, will celebrate its grand opening at 526 Amsterdam Avenue from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday with free kid scoops of ice cream, the brand announced.
As part of the grand opening, the newest outpost, located between 85th and 86th streets, will serve an Upper West Side-inspired, shop-specific flavor: Night at the Moo-seum, a dark chocolate ice that pays homage to the nearby American Museum of Natural History with fossil-like mix-ins to dig for as you eat, according to the brand.
