Asian Woman Harassed And Spit On While Walking On The UWS: Police
A 26-year-old woman was walking near 60th Street and Broadway when she was approached by a person making anti-Asian statements, police said.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A 26-year-old Asian woman was walking on the Upper West Side when a person approached her, spit in her face, and made anti-Asian remarks, police said.
The woman was walking at the intersection of West 60th Street and Broadway around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday when the unprovoked harassment happened, a police spokesperson told Patch.
The New York Police Department released photos Tuesday night of the woman wanted in connection to the harassment, who a spokesperson said fled the scene.

The 26-year-old woman refused medical attention after the incident.
