Ballet Hispánico Hosts Celebración Latina This Weekend
The free, day-long event will be held at the company's headquarters on the Upper West Side on Saturday.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY – On Saturday, Oct. 5th, Ballet Hispánico will host its annual Celebración Latina Family Day at its headquarters on the Upper West Side.
From 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 167 W. 89th Street between Amsterdam and Columbus avenues, attendees can enjoy performances by students from the School of Dance, take part in free dance lessons, and explore Ballet Hispánico’s facilities on guided tours.
Performances are scheduled to take place at 1:45 p.m., 2:45 p.m., and 3:45 p.m., with adult dance lessons following each performance. Free classes for children aged 6 to 18 – in ballet, jazz, flamenco, tap, hip hop, Latin rhythms, and more – will be offered between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The event will also feature food trucks, face painting, and craft activities.
Celebración Latina Family Day is part of Ballet Hispánico’s broader celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to highlight the diverse voices of the Hispanic diaspora.
