Burlington Opens On The Upper West Side In Former Michaels' Home
A new Burlington store opened its doors for the first time on Nov. 11 at 808 Columbus Ave. on West 99th Street.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Burlington, formerly known as the Burlington Coat Factory, opened last week on the Upper West Side.
The clothing retail store opened at 808 Columbus Ave. on West 99th Street. It replaces a longtime Michaels store at the location.
Burlington is taking over the expansive 34,424 square-foot space on the busy Columbus Avenue business corridor that includes a nearby Target, Sephora, and Whole Foods.

The discount chain store Five Below also opened this fall across the street from the new Burlington.
Along with clothes, Burlington sells home good, electronics, cosmetics, toys, and holiday goods.

Its holiday deals currently have jackets for kids starting at $19.99 and plus-size coats starting at $22.99.
Burlington Stores opened its first store in New Jersey in 1972 and has expanded to 792 stores by the end of 2021, according to its website.
There are Burlington outposts across New York City, including one in Union Square and in Harlem.
