UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The Cashmere Sale, a popular annual pop-up shop on the Upper West Side, just reopened in the neighborhood.

The business was created by a group of friends in Greenwich, Connecticut, and has become an annual shopping event across more than 30 locations nationwide.

"By offering online shopping and limiting our nationwide pop-up stores to once a year, we eliminate traditional brick and mortar expenses and pass the savings onto you," an About section reads on the Cashmere Sale's website.

Last year, the Cashmere Sale was based on the Upper West Side out of the former Modell's on Amsterdam between West 76th and 77th streets.

This year, there is also a pop-up on the Upper East Side at 1198 Third Ave.
