UPPER WEST SIDE, NY - An NYPD investigation launched following an anonymous call reporting an active shooter threat at Central Park Saturday afternoon found no credible threats to the area, authorities said.

Central Park security staff received the call about 1 p.m., with the anonymous caller reporting an active shooter threat at the park, police said. Local authorities were contacted shortly thereafter.

Responding officers canvassed the location and found no security threats, police said.
