Chick-Fil-A Plans To Open Its First Upper West Side Location
The popular chicken chain is planning to open its newest New York City location on the Upper West Side.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The popular fast-food chain Chick-Fil-A has signed on the dotted line for a new Upper West Side location.
The Southern chicken sandwich specialists have recently filed a work permit for 795 Columbus Avenue. The permit did not include any additional details about the new venture, such as a potential opening date.
First reported by West Side Rag, this new Chick-fil-A location will be the chain's 11th in the city.

"It’s our pleasure to confirm that construction for a new Chick-fil-A restaurant at 795 Columbus Avenue is underway. The locally owned and operated restaurant is slated to open in early 2025, pending any delays," a spokesperson for Chick-fil-A, Inc. told Patch.
The store will be situated in a two-story mixed-use building between West 98th and 99th Streets, which currently houses Bareburger, Target and Home Goods. The space previously served as a women’s LOFT clothing shop.

This will be the first Upper West Side location for the Atlanta-based chain, which first arrived in New York City in 2015 with a shop in Midtown.
"We look forward to joining the Upper West Side community soon, and to serving all of our guests delicious food in an environment of genuine hospitality," Chick-fil-A, Inc. said.
