European Pastry Cafe Opens On The Upper West Side
Patisserie Chanson had its soft opening this weekend at West 70th Street and Broadway. Here's what to know.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A popular European bakery had its soft opening on the Upper West Side this weekend.
Patisserie Chanson has opened its doors at 2040 Broadway, on the corner of West 70th Street, as announced by its Instagram, and as first reported by ILoveTheUpperWestSide.
"Patisserie Chanson is a modern European cafe and eatery in New York that specialized in the art of dessert making," reads the bakery's website. "We are committed to serving freshly prepared Michelin standard French viennoiserie and an extensive drink menu."

The new Upper West Side location serves up chocolate eclairs, carrot cake, tiramisu, tarts, olive oil cake, croissants, macaroons, breads, sandwiches, salads, brunch options ice teas, coffees and more.
The cafe also offers wine and same-day delivery and pickup ordering.

Patisserie Chanson, which first opened in the Flatiron District in 2016, now has five locations throughout Manhattan with the opening of the Upper West Side outpost.
It is replacing a T-Mobile store at the 2040 Broadway storefront.
