Fire Breaks Out At 83rd And Columbus Ave: FDNY
No injuries have been reported in the West 83rd Street blaze.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Firefighters are battling a blaze that broke out an Upper West Side apartment building Friday morning, the FDNY said. The fire started on the top floor of 100 W. 83nd St. off Columbus Avenue just after 11:50 a.m., the Fire Department said.
No injuries have been reported. The spokeswoman said 100 firefighters responded to the fire, which is about three blocks from the American Museum of Natural History.
The NYPD warned people to avoid the area because of the Fire Department activity.
