UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Earlier this week, ownership of the Dublin House bar on the Upper West Side created a GoFundMe to help raise funds for its iconic, but falling apart, neon sign that sits above the 100-year-old watering hole.

"The sign has been serviced through the years by many different people and is in desperate need of a gut renovation and restoration. It has not been lit for some time now," read the GoFundMe description.

With a goal of $15,000 and an offer of a free pint of Guinness to anyone who made a donation of more than $50, Dublin House announced the fundraiser on its Instagram.
