Goats Are Coming Baaaaaack To Riverside Park This Summer
In what's becoming a goatastic tradition, the now somewhat famous animals are returning to Riverside Park this summer.
RIVERSIDE PARK, NY — Sound the bells, the goats are coming back to Riverside Park this summer.
The Riverside Park Conservancy announced Wednesday morning that the famous goat interns will be returning to the park this summer to help chow down on invasive plants.
The goats will again patrol the area on the sloped terrain between 119th and 122nd streets in Riverside Park.

A goat teaser video was also released on Wednesday.
The Riverside Park Conservancy did not reveal when the goat's arrival date would be and how many would grace the area with their presence.

Last year, 24 goats arrived in Riverside Park on July 14. Generally, after the running of the goats, only five of the furry animals stay in Riverside Park for the entirety of the summer.
The goats first cleared local weeds and won the hearts of the neighborhood in 2019.
