How To Stay Cool On The Upper West Side During NYC's Heat Wave
As the summer heat intensifies in New York City, here's a roundup of indoor cooling centers and outdoor options on the Upper West Side.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — As residents across most of New York City seek relief from the season's first heat wave, Patch has compiled a list to help Upper West Side residents stay cool this weekend, detailing how and where to find respite.
Temperatures are expected to reach the low 90s today and are projected to rise further this weekend, reaching up to 94 degrees on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast temperatures for the city for the next few days are expected to be "dangerously high," NYC Emergency Management Commissioner Zachary Iscol said Monday.

To stay cool, New Yorkers should note nearby cooling centers, beaches, community pools, misting stations and other options, emergency officials warned.
