Krispy Kreme closure

I went to the Krispy Kreme located at 2563 Broadway New York NY 10025 on Sunday December 22nd, 2024, in the afternoon and I noticed that the staff only had one employee working. When I asked Angel according to his name tag the only Krispy Kreme worker there at the moment if he was the only one on hand, he told me that at the moment yes. He then told me the store was closing that day to my surprise. I passed by the store again on Monday December 23rd, 2024, in the afternoon and the Krispy Kreme awning sign was removed, the store had its lights turned off, closed and the windows were completely covered up with a black plastic covering.
