Late Night Morningside Blaze Leaves Person In Critical Condition: FDNY
A fire at the Grant Houses late Monday night sent one resident to the hospital in serious condition, officials said.

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, NY — A late night blaze in Morningside Heights on Monday left one person in serious condition, according to fire officials.
The fire broke out on the 10th floor of a 21-story building at 3170 Broadway — part of NYCHA's Grant Houses — at around 10:10 p.m., officials said.
Nearly 80 firefighters and first responders rushed to the scene to fight the flames, according to an FDNY spokesperson.

One person was rescued in critical condition, according to authorities, and was brought to St. Luke's Hospital for care.
By 10:50 p.m., the flames were under control, officials said.
