Bibi Mohamed: Imperial Fine Books, Inc. was established in 1989, woman-owned and operated: Specializing in the finest selection of leather bound sets, fine bindings, children's, fine and rare books, Custom Bookbinding, building collections.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Bibi Mohamed: Since 1989
Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Bibi Mohamed: I worked at a rare bookshop in the city when I graduated from high school in 1972, it was not something I wanted to do,as a young woman I wanted to have my own money and this was an opportunity for me. I started working as a secretary then into sales. After 13 years working at J.N.BARTFIELD I decided to leave to pursue something different but my path took me in becoming a rare book dealer which was a blessing!! I love what I do!

Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Bibi Mohamed: Buy what you love.
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Bibi Mohamed: Getting to meet people and the hunt of finding and selling fine and rare books, building libraries!
Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Bibi Mohamed: We emphasize on quality and competitive prices! We respect every individual whether they are a buyer or not.
