Man Attacked With Umbrella And Slashed On Upper West Side: Police
The attack happened outside of an Upper West Side McDonald's on a block that saw a deli get robbed multiple times at the end of summer.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man was attacked with an umbrella and slashed recently on the Upper West Side, police said on Sunday.
A 33-year-old man was in an unknown argument in front of 2049 Broadway (West 71st Street) with two people about 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 2, when the duo struck him in the head with an umbrella and slashed his forearm with an unknown weapon, police said.
The two attackers then ran away, police added.

Emergency services rushed the man to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition, police said.
There has not been an arrest as of Monday morning, police said.
