Man Faces Murder Charge In Fatal UWS Apartment Stabbing, Police Say

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A suspect has been charged with murder in the fatal stabbing of a 40-year-old man at an Upper West Side apartment complex last week, police announced on Thursday.
David Felix, 43, was taken into custody on Thursday and has also been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
Felix is accused of stabbing Shariff Clindinin several times in the neck on April 18 just before midnight at 140 West 104th St., which is part of the New York City Housing Authority's Douglass Houses.

Clindinin, who also lived in the Douglass Houses, was rushed by medics to Mount Sinai Morningside after the attack, where he was pronounced dead, Patch previously reported.
Defense attorney information for Felix was not readily available.
