Man Falls To Death From W 86th St Building, Police Say
The man fell from the Upper West Side building shortly after 9 a.m., police said.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man fell to his death Thursday morning from an apartment building on a busy Upper West Side block, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The 44-year-old man, who has not been identified, fell from an "elevated location" at a building on West 86th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues shortly after 9 a.m., police said. An NYPD spokeswoman could not confirm from how high the man fell or how the man fell.
Medics pronounced the man dead at the scene, an NYPD spokeswoman said.
