Man Robbed At Gunpoint On Upper West Side: Police
A man had his wallet and cell phone snatched Thursday night after a robber flashed a gun at 83rd Street on the UWS, police said.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man was robbed at gunpoint on the Upper West Side Thursday night, a police spokesperson told Patch.
The frightening robbery took place around 8:20 p.m. in front of 39 W. 83rd St. (between Columbus and Central Park West), police said.
A man was standing in front of the UWS building, when a robber wearing a camouflage mask and sweater appeared in front of him and flashed a gun, police said.

The robber proceeded to take the person's wallet and cell phone, police said.
He then fled on foot.
