Man Rubbed Genitals Against Mom Standing With Daughter On UWS: NYPD

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man rubbed his genitals against a mom standing with her teenage daughter on an Upper West Side train, police said.

The 39-year-old woman was riding a northbound A train near West 72nd Street with her 13-year-old daughter on Saturday around 2:20 p.m. when a man approached them and began rubbing himself against her legs, police said.

The mom yelled at the man and then moved away with her daughter as another person riding the train snapped a cellphone picture of the man, police said.

The man proceeded to get off the train at 72nd Street, while the mom and daughter continued riding to 96th Street — where they called the police, NYPD said.

The Manhattan Transit Special Victims Squad is investigating.

Police released a picture Wednesday of the man wanted in connection with the incident.

Police describe the man as 6 feet, 1 inches, around 180 pounds, with an athletic build and brown eyes.
