Man Stabbed On Upper West Side Train After Argument: Police
A subway rider was stabbed Thursday evening while riding a train at West 72nd Street, police said. He was hospitalized in stable condition.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A man was stabbed Thursday evening in an Upper West Side train station after an argument broke out with another passenger, police said.
The attacker knifed the 62-year-old man in the stomach around 5:33 p.m. as he stepped off a 2 train onto the West 72nd Street and Broadway subway platform, police said.
The two, who did not know each other, were having an argument about an unknown subject, police said.

The attacker proceeded to run out of the station with the injured man chasing him, police said.
There has been no arrest as of Friday morning.

Emergency services took the 62-year-old to St. Luke's hospital in stable condition, police said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
