UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The New York Mets are having a great season, but one left fielder might have just landed a few more fans on the Upper West Side after naming his favorite bagel spot in the city.

In a recent interview with Newsday, pitcher Mark Canha named an UWS bagel place as he was listing off his favorite spots in New York City.

His go-to bagel place? "Bagel & Co. at 79th Street and Amsterdam. Once you find the one, you don't need to keep looking," reads the article.

Bagels & Co. is a classic styled NYC spot that serves up bagel flavors such as plain, cinnamon raisin, egg, everything, garlic, poppy seed, onion, pumpernickel, sesame, rainbow, and blueberry.

There are also more than 20 types of cream cheeses, as well as other breakfast options like omelettes and pancakes.

Canha, who is batting .273 with seven home runs and 34 RBIs in his first year with the Mets, also lives on the Upper West Side.

He added in the Newsday interview that he had not yet found his favorite pizza place.

Canha has received added attention and praise this season for his choice to take the train to Citi Field for many of the home games this year.

“It’s practical, it’s cheap, it’s pretty reliable,” Canha told Newsday. “It drops me off right at the stadium. Why not? It’s New York. I feel like that’s what you do.”

Correction: A previous version of the story included that Bagel & Co. served bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches. It is a kosher restaurant so they do not serve bacon.
