Michelin-Recommended Soup Dumplings Land On Upper West Side
Nan Xiang Express, known for its authentic Shanghainese dim sum and Michelin-recommended soup dumplings, is now open on the Upper West Side.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A new outpost of a highly ranked, affordable soup dumpling house just opened its doors on the Upper West Side.
Nan Xiang Express, renowned for its authentic Shanghainese dim sum and Michelin-recommended soup dumplings, has opened a new location on Broadway between 107 and 108th Streets.
The 1,400-square-foot location was leased at $160 per foot, according to Silverline Realty Group, which brokered the deal. The lease will expire in 15 years.

Nan Xiang Soup Dumpling originally opened as Nan Xiang Xiaolongbao in Flushing, Queens, in 2006. Since then, it has expanded to multiple locations across New York City, including Forest Hills, Chelsea, and Downtown Brooklyn, as well as in Boston, Cherry Hill (New Jersey), and Ellicott City (Maryland).
According to its website, Nan Xiang Express has been in the Michelin Guide for nine years straight.

Signature dishes include crab and pork soup dumplings, as well as other Chinese comfort food staples like pan-fried crispy noodles, fried rice and Shanghai fried udon noodles.
Nan Xiang Express on the Upper West Side is now open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
