New UWS Omakase Spot Set To Replace Pizzeria
Described as "contemporary premium omakase" with a modest price point, the 13-course prix fixe menu will offer seatings for under $100.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY - If you’re looking to shell out on chef-curated dinners with course numbers in the double digits on the Upper West Side, look no further.
One Bite Omakase will be opening at 411 Amsterdam Ave., the former site of Bardolino Pizza, between West 79th and 80th streets, the owners said via Instagram.
Described as “contemporary premium omakase” with a modest price point, the 13-course prix fixe menu at One Bite Omakase will start at $89 per person for 60 minutes.

Reservations are required for 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. slots Tuesday through Sunday.
While an opening date hasn’t been announced yet, One Bite Omakase’s owners said they are “counting days for our official soft opening” via Instagram on Saturday.

Nearby omakase spots include Sushi Ishikawa and Sushi Nokoya, which exceed $100 per person for a traditional omakase meal. Sushi W on West 102nd Street touts $68 omakase (with 15 pieces and two hand rolls), dubbed “one of the most affordable omakase options in NYC” by The Infatuation.
For reference, other omakase spots around New York City can cost up to $425 per person.
Bardolino Pizza closed last March; before the pizzeria, the space was occupied by T&R Pizza.
