Worker Dies After Being Hit By Debris On Riverside Drive: City
The 28-year-old worker died after being rushed to the hospital, city officials said.

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, NY — A worker died after being hit by debris that fell from a 13-story Morningside Heights building Thursday afternoon, the FDNY said.
A preliminary investigation by the Department of Buildings revealed that a piece of construction scaffolding fell from 524 Riverside Drive — located between West 122nd Street and Tiemann Place — and struck a worker in the head.
Emergency responders arrived at around 2:30 p.m. Thursday and rushed the man to St. Luke's hospital, and FDNY spokesman said. The worker was identified as 28-year-old Angel Espinoza of Staten Island, officials said.
