Person Injured In Upper West Side Residential Building Fire: FDNY
Dozens of firefighters responded to a blaze Monday morning within a residential building on the UWS, an FDNY spokesperson said.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A fire ignited Monday morning in a residential building on the Upper West Side that left a person injured, an FDNY spokesperson told Patch.
Flames sparked around 11:16 a.m. on the second floor of a building at 100 W. 100th St. (near Columbus), the spokesperson said.
One person suffered minor injuries from the flames, but refused medical attention, the spokesperson said.

A total of 60 firefighters responded to the blaze and had it under control by 11:54 a.m., the spokesperson said.
FDNY is investigating the cause of the fire.
