Coincidently, the 230 W. 101st St. address is notable as the former home of the Broadway Hotel & Hostel, which was run as an illegal hotel by notorious landlord Hank Freid.

Klosed Properties bought the building in December 2021 for $15.5 million, but plans remain unclear for exactly what the real estate company wants to do with the property.
