Person Struck And Killed By Train On UWS At 96th Street: Police
A police spokesperson told Patch that a man jumped in front of an incoming 3 train at the 96th Street station around 11:40 a.m. on Friday.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A person was struck and killed by a train Friday at the 96th Street 1, 2, 3 station around 11:40 a.m., a police spokesperson told Patch.
A man in his 40s jumped in front of a southbound 3 train as it pulled into the station, police said.
He was ruled dead 15 minutes later, police said.

Emergency teams are responding to the injured person, but the MTA did not specify their condition.
