UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Police nabbed one motorcyclist who struck an NYPD officer last month, causing him to fall from his scooter while he was being escorted out of Central Park, authorities said.
Police arrested Brent Rosa, 18, and charged him with assault, leaving the scene of an incident without reporting, and reckless endangerment for the May 24 incident, an NYPD spokesperson said.
Police said the on-duty NYPD officer was riding a marked police scooter, leading the motorcyclists out of the park near West Drive and W. 90th St. around 4:05 p.m., when the attack occurred.
