UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Thai food lovers, rejoice.

A Thai hotspot in the East Village has made plans to open up a new Thai concept on the Upper West Side.

More details on the new concept should be coming soon, the spokesperson said Thursday morning.

The new space spans approximately 6,200 square feet and previously housed Picholine. However, it has remained vacant since the closure of the Michelin-starred French and Mediterranean restaurant in late 2015, reportedly due to an expired lease and rent hikes, as per Eater.

Since its debut in 2020, Soothr has amassed a devoted following, establishing itself as a leading Thai restaurant and earning recognition in the MICHELIN Guide for 2021, 2022, and 2023.
