UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Pizza lovers rejoice. Two Boots, a popular pizzeria that serves up some of the best reviewed vegan and gluten free pies in the city, is returning to the Upper West Side in the next few months.

Two Boots will open a new location at 70 W. 71st St., in the former home of Big Nick's Too, an employee at a West Village location confirmed to Patch.

Two Boots breaks its pizza menu into three categories, Vegan Pizzas, Veggie Pizzas, and Meat Pizzas. The pies also come along with fun names such as, "My Brilliant Vegan Friend," "The Buckminster," "Tony Clifton," "The Newman," and the "Bayou Beast."

Two Boots previously operated on the Upper West side at West 95th and Broadway, before closing seemingly overnight in March of 2019. It had served customers at the location for nine years, but management eventually explained it could not renegotiate its lease.
