Racist Robocalls Received By Barnard College Staff After Tessa Majors' Death

Faculty members have reported receiving calls from a white supremacist group.

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, NY — Police are investigating a rash of racist robocalls made to faculty at Barnard College and Columbia University following the killing of student Tessa Majors.

School officials say the calls came from a white supremacist group.

Police say the NYPD’s racial and ethnically motivated extremism unit “is aware of this incident and looking into the matter.”
