RIVERSIDE PARK, NY — It has become somewhat of a summer neighborhood holiday.

On Wednesday morning, the "Running of the Goats" took place near 120th Street and Riverside Park — to properly welcome back the triumphant weed-whacking interns.

"They’re officially baaaaaaack," the Riverside Park Conservancy wrote on Instagram. "We had an incredible time celebrating the Riverside Park Conservancy goats as they made their triumphant return."

A total of 20 goats ran into the park, four of whom will remain for the entire summer between 119th and 122nd streets in the park.

Included in the four goats remaining in the park is two-time Riverside veteran Skittles, along with 2019 star Cheech — who will be making his comeback.

The other two will be newcomers Big "G" and Elenor.

"I can’t wait to come to the city next month! I can’t wait for the kids to see them," one person commented on Riverside Park's Instagram post of the goats.

Hundreds of people came out Wednesday morning to welcome the goats in.
