UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A group of shady crooks stole more than $5,000 of sunglasses from two Manhattan eyewear stores, including one Upper West Side shop, police said.

Four people entered the store about 5:15 p.m. and swiped $4,100 worth of shades from the store before running off, according to police.
