2 Shot At UWS Playground, Shooters Flee On Citi Bike: Police
Two men were shot at the Samuel N. Bennerson Playground on Tuesday night, officials confirmed.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY – At approximately 8 p.m. on Tuesday night, a 25-year-old man and an 18-year-old man were shot inside the Samuel N. Bennerson Playground near 216 West 64th Street, police said.
The 25-year-old man was injured after a bullet grazed his left wrist, according to police, while the 18-year-old was shot in the right leg.
Both victims were transported to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in stable condition, police said.

The two shooters fled southbound on a single Citi Bike, a police spokesperson confirmed, and were described as “in their twenties, one black male and one black Hispanic male.”
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
