Missing UWS Man Found Safe, Police Say

Update: Missing Upper West Side resident Ian Canino, 39, was found safe three days after he was last seen leaving his building, police said.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side man was reported missing Thursday after not been seen for two days, police said.

Ian Canino, 39, was last seen leaving his building on West 71st Street around 9 p.m., police said. Police described the missing Upper West Sider was standing about 5-foot-10, weighing around 140 pounds with hazel eyes and a bald head.

The outfit Canino was wearing at the time of his disappearance is unknown, police said. Investigators released a photo of the man Thursday morning and are asking the public to help locate him.
