The project was funded entirely by a gift made to the Conservancy.
The 83rd Street staircase is near the River Run Playground and the Warsaw Ghetto Memorial Plaza.
The staircase is one of many throughout Riverside Park that the Conservancy is working to renovate.
"We are thrilled to have made this park improvement happen, and we also know there is still much work to do across the Park," the Conservancy said in a news release.
