Upper West Siders Can Now Get Trader Joe's Delivered

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — In what's likely the most important bit of Upper West Side news of the week, you can now get Trader Joe's delivered in the neighborhood.

As those who frequent Trader Joe's all over the city know, the lines inside the store can leave you waiting for up to an hour if you pick the wrong time to shop.

Now, a new service launched by a local software engineer called TJ Delivery, which isn't affiliated or endorsed by Trader Joe's, is offering deliveries on the Upper West Side, as first reported by ILoveTheUpperWestSide.

The service is exclusive to the Upper West Side, offering deliveries to all west side addresses between 59th and 110th streets.

There is a $9.99 delivery fee and also a 5 percent service fee, which is calculated as a percentage of the subtotal. The subtotal can not exceed $150 and there is a limit of 10 of the same item.

You can also select substitute items in case your preferred selection is unavailable.

Refunds are offered for deliveries you aren't satisfied with.

To get started on an order, you create an account, select your items, and then choose a day and a two-hour delivery window between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. You can create day-of-orders or schedule an order up to five days in advance.

The delivery service is planning on expanding outside of the Upper West Side soon.
