Upper West Side-dwellers may soon be able to grab a beer with their burrito bowl or chips and guac order at this new location.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY - Upper West Side-dwellers may soon be able to grab a beer with their burrito bowl or chips and guac order.
The new Chipotle location at 2575 Broadway near 97th Street, which opened in November, has applied for a liquor license, according to state records. The license is currently under review.

The Upper West Side location aims to serve beer and wine on the premises, though it’s unclear when the approval will come through, a representative for the store told Patch. The liquor license application was filed in August.
