UWS Equinox Covered Up Theft Spree, Lawsuit Says
Members at the Equinox on West 67th Street and Columbus Avenue were not told about more than five thefts at the gym.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Sider is suing his gym for covering up a weeks long theft spree, the New York Post first reported.
Lawyer Giorgio Nicolò Vergani is taking his local Equinox, located on West 67th Street and Columbus Avenue, to court after his $25,000 Rolex was stolen from one of the gyms lockers, the Post reported. When Vergani took his report to the cops, they told him that there had been five other thefts reported at the Equinox.
Equinox, however, failed to notify its members about the crimes that occurred a the gym, Vergani claims in the lawsuit.
