UPPER WEST SIDE, NY - A boutique facial studio with half a dozen locations around New York City has opened its latest outpost in the Upper West Side.
Glowbar, located at 805 Columbus Ave. near West 100th Street, opened its doors Oct. 20 at the site of the former Verizon store.
Glowbar sets itself apart by providing custom 30-minute targeted treatments - not spa facials - from licensed estheticians for one flat rate, according to its website.

Rates start at $55 for members and $75 for non-members. Members get one treatment a month, one guest pass per year, access to exclusive events, 10 percent off at retail and more.
Apart from the half-dozen locations in New York City, Glowbar offers service locations in New Jersey, Long Island and Connecticut.
