UWS Gunman Who Shot Man In Buttocks Nabbed, NYPD Says
A Brooklyn man has been charged in the UWS shooting last month that saw a man take a bullet in the backside, authorities said Monday.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY - A Brooklyn man has been charged in the Upper West Side shooting last month that saw a man take a bullet in the backside, authorities said Monday.
Diamante Shell, 25, was charged with attempted murder and related offenses, police said.
The gunman squeezed off several shots, striking the 41-year-old victim in the buttocks and shoulder, near Amsterdam Avenue and West 89th Street on Sept. 19 about about 1:30 a.m., Patch previously reported.

The man then ran west on West 89th Street, police said. Medics rushed the wounded man to Mount Sinai Morningside in stable condition.
Police previously sought two gunmen in connection with the shooting. The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
