UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — New York City has seen a surge in restaurant openings in recent months as the city continues to reopen from the coronavirus pandemic, and a recent list from Eater NY just named an Upper West Side newcomer as one of the best restaurants to open in 2021.
The Korean eatery Chick Chick, located at 618 Amsterdam Avenue at 90th Street, was named by Eater editors as one of the "15 hottest new restaurants in Manhattan" to open in 2021.
Chick Chick, best known for its fried chicken and ramen, had its soft opening on the Upper West Side at the end of March. It took over the space previously home to Coffeeberry, which closed at the end of 2018.
