UPPER WEST SIDE — Aleksandra Witek and her two little boys were supposed to dance at her brother's wedding in just two weeks. But then emergency responders found Ola, Calvin and Lucian dead in their Upper West Side home, victims of what appears to be a horrific murder-suicide.

It was Witek's family, frightened by her sudden disappearance who pleaded with emergency responders to knock down the apartment door on West 86th Street Monday afternoon, they said in a statement responding to the tragedy.

But they put the focus on Ola, one-year-old Calvin, and Lucian, who was three.

Ola was a proud Polish mom and former teacher whose boys loved it when she read them stories, the family said.

Her brother Lukas was slated to marry fiancé Emma Hutchison in just two weeks — but the family has postponed the event as they figure out what comes next.

According to the family, the little boys called their uncle "wujo."

"He beamed any time friends asked how his nephews were and his love for them was palpable in conversation," said the family.

Lukas is the only family member left to Ola's mother, Grace Witek, said the family.

"Grace was a proud grandma, who enjoyed showering the young family with love. Her home is adorned with memories and photos of the sweet boys with their arms wrapped around her."

Friends of the Witek family have launched a GoFundMe to help the grieving family manage funeral, burial and legal costs.

As of Tuesday afternoon, it had raised about $11,000.

The Witek family lost the mom and her son less than a week after a Brooklyn mom was killed and her two children critically injured in a hammer attack. The 5-year-old boy cannot recognize his father. The 3-year-old girl is still fighting for her life.

Police believe Edison Lopez — the building super who took over his dad's old job — stabbed his two sons, killed Witek and then himself, according to reports.

"We are heartbroken," the Witek family said, "and incensed."
