UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — When "Chopped" host Marc Murphy's Time Warner Center restaurant closes, 127 people will lose their jobs, according to a New York State Department of Labor notice.

Murphy's "Landmarc" is set to serve up its last meal on July 22, the chef announced in April. The restaurant opened in Columbus Cirlce's Time Warner Center, which has become a magnet for high-end eateries and shops, 12 years ago.

In Murphy's announcement of the closure he made sure to thank the people who "helped build our company."

"Those amazing people who served our customers, who sweated it out in the kitchen, who kept things running behind the scenes — there is no way that any of what I’ve done in this business would have happened without all of you, and for that I am forever grateful," Murphy said in an Instagram post.

Murphy opened the Time Warner Center location of Landmarc following success at its original location in TriBeCa. The TriBeCa Landmark shifted from a full-service restaurant to events-only in 2017, but it appears that it may also close this summer. The Department of Labor notice said employees at the location will be laid off starting Aug. 21.
