UWS Woman Suffering Mental Illness Goes Missing, Police Say
The 75-year-old woman was last seen leaving her Amsterdam Avenue building on Saturday.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An Upper West Side woman suffering from mental illness was reported missing over the weekend, police said.
The NYPD issued a silver alert Sunday for 75-year-old Vivian Fones, who was last seen exiting her Amsterdam Avenue apartment building on Saturday afternoon, police said. She is presumed missing somewhere within the confines of the NYPD's 20th precinct, which spans the Upper West Side from West 59th to 86th streets.
Fones is described as standing about 5-foot-10 and weighing around 130 pounds with a medium building, light complexion, brown eyes and short white hair. She was last seen wearing a white head wrap, gold framed glasses, a beige coat and a white shirt, police said.
