Video: Robbers Flee UWS Deli After Shooting Good Samaritan, Cops Say
Newly released footage also shows an armed gunman leaping over the Lincoln Convenience counter and grabbing cash from the till, police said.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The Upper West Side deli robbery that left a good Samaritan with a gunshot wound was captured on surveillance video police released Tuesday.
Video shows four people enter the Lincoln Convenience smoke shop at 2047 Broadway as one of the robbers points a gun at the employee and jumps over the counter toward the cash register, police said,
While the video doesn't show a shot being fired, the end of the video shows one of the four robbers wrestling with another man as the rest of the group flees the store.

A 29-year-old friend sitting with the lone employee working at the time attempted to intervene and was shot in the left foot, according to multiple reports — including the New York Post and WestSideRag.
The New York Post reported that the friend chose to keep the employee company because the store had also been robbed on Friday.

The 29-year-old was taken to St. Luke's hospital, where he is in stable condition, police added.
The group of bandits made out with CBD jars and roughly $150 from behind the counter, police said.
There have been no arrests as of Tuesday afternoon.
