Woman Carjacked In Broad Daylight On Upper West Side: Police

Two people approached a 50-year-old in a Mercedes-Benz, displayed a gun and stole the vehicle, police said.

NEW YORK — A woman was carjacked Sunday morning on the Upper West Side, according to police.

Shortly before 10 a.m. two people approached a 50-year-old in a Mercedes-Benz at West 84th Street and Broadway, displayed a gun and stole the vehicle, police said.

The carjackers fled east on West 84th Street, according to police, who said there were no injuries and no arrests, and that the investigation was ongoing as of Sunday afternoon.
